Baseline survey

Collecting information about a villageThe starting point of most of our work is to conduct a baseline survey, which will include information on many aspects of village life.

The baseline can take up to six months, but it’s worth spending time on it as it will inform all our subsequent work with that village.

  • Gyetiase, Six Years On

Gyetiase has been Ashanti Development's headquarters village since 2005 and has become relatively wealthy, as shown on Antonella Sinopoli's video. Our aim is to help all the other villages in the area to achieve the same strength and self-sufficiency.
